Welcome to the website of Wild Harmony. The site is under perpetual development!

WILD HARMONY is a small, friendly South Brent based community choir, which meets regularly to share the fun of singing together and learning songs and harmonies from around the world.

Emily Roblyn leads Wild Harmony. Emily grew up in Canada and was encouraged to harmonise and perform from an early age so that singing is so much a part of her she doesn’t ever remember being without it. She is passionate about sharing her love of people coming together to sing and the magic of harmony.

The SONGS part of the website includes words of all songs we sing or have sung with Emily and collections of some earlier Wild Harmony leaders. This section been temporarily disabled to enable us to deal more formally with copyright issues and may be returned in due course with members access and a password.

[Until then you will not be able to use the following guidance:

To find a song, click on the ‘Songs’ tab along the top, then look at the list of songs and categories.

Most songs also have an attachment in Word with the lyrics for printing out if you wish.

Where we have recorded Wild Harmony singing the song either in performance or rehearsal that is also on the webpage - click on the music attachment

Wherever possible I have acknowledged songwriters and arrangers. My apologies for any omissions or errors.]

As meeting in person to sing together remains uncertain, ‘Wild Harmony’, will resume after the summer break via Zoom, with 8 fortnightly sessions from 7.30-9pm on Fridays starting again on 11 September. (11 & 25 September; 9 & 23 October; 6 & 20 November; 4& 18 December).

You can access the sessions via this link: https://zoom.us/j/3537375713; or if you are accessing via your own Zoom App then use: Meeting ID: 353-737-5713; Password: 696715.

There will be two payment rates – ‘Regular singers’: £40 for the term and ‘Drop-in’ singers: £6 per session. Please pay Emily via her PayPal link: www.paypal.com/paypalme/emroblyn.

As we are all wanting to sing together ‘properly’, we are also investigating the possibility of two Sunday afternoon, socially distanced but in person singing sessions with Emily, in the Village Hall; one in October and one in November. However, this will depend on the coronavirus situation nearer the time.

Emily’s more meditative, mindful evenings of 'Sound, Song and Silence' are resuming from 8-9pm on the 2nd Sunday of the month until Christmas (13 September; 11 October; 8 November; 13 December) The cost is £5 per session and the Zoom and payment links details are the same as for Wild Harmony.
